December is a month known for big parties and concerts as mostpeople organize themselves to end the year in style. 2018 will be a year for many events organizers and promoters who have held their shows that turned out to be a flop to them. Last week was a bad one for a young talented singer Fik Fameica who hosted his show My Journey at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds in Kampala and it turned to the biggest flop of the year. This has made many events organizers to cancel their shows that many have a fear to make loses. The latest we have is that the much-anticipated Melanin concert that was set to happen this Friday 21st December at Cricket oval Lugogo has been called off. The Melanin concert was set to feature the Nigerian reggae and Dancehall star Patoranking together with Kenya’s music group Sauti Sol. However reports we are getting seems not to be very clear and why the organizers had to make such decision yet the show was left with only a few days. According to close sources inside the camp, they have it that the organizers are worried thinking that the show could turn out to be a flop worse than Fik Fameica’s just concluded concert.
